Cycling films to be screened for free at Hardcastle Crags
Hardcastle Crags will be the setting for an evening of cycling-themed films and documentaries.
The Tour de Cinema is one of nearly 50 events selected to be officially part of Yorkshire Festival 2014 and will see the free screenings of six films on Saturday, May 3, be- tween 5pm and 10pm. All of the screenings are either universal or PG rated, meaning the whole family can enjoy the event.
Films on show will include Vive le Tour, a vivid account of the 1962 Tour de France, Velorama, a a specially- commissioned new feature-length documentary directed by award-winning filmmaker Daisy Asquith and A Day Out, featuring Halifax cycling club’s day trip to the ruins of Fountains Abbey in 1911.
