Hike through the night for hospice
The seventh annual Midnight Walk will take place on September 13 to raise money and support for the Overgate Hospice.
Thousands of walkers turn up every year to embark on a six or 13 mile challenge.
Around 1,000 people took part in last year’s walk and the organisers are hoping to break that record this year.
The team hope to raise as much as possible, as the fundraising team have to raise more than £6,900 every day to keep the Hospice open.
Entry is £12 per person and admission to the walk includes a t-shirt, a finishing medal and a goody bag.
Overgate Hospice provides specialist palliative care for adults suffering from life-limiting and progressive illnesses and is the only adult hospice in the Calderdale area.
For more information on the event and how to register to take part, visit www. mw.overgatehospice.org.uk.
Registration will be open from 10.30pm on the night of the walk and route of the journey will remain a secret until that night.
