Busi­ness­man shares sound ad­vice

An in­ter­na­tional busi­ness­man has de­scribed his ex­ten­sive ca­reer which has taken him across the world. Paul Beau­mont, who is also pres­i­dent of the Brighouse and Ras­trick Brass Band, has worked in board­rooms for more than 25 years and started four busi­nesses from scratch. He has also ex­panded one firm which be­came worth more than 170 mil­lion dol­lars in two years and has turned around seven com­pa­nies to make prof­its. He said: “I’ve had meet­ings with the Mafia in Moscow and dealt with a dis­trib­u­tor in Venezuela, who it turned out was also a gang leader. “I’ve found that it doesn’t mat­ter who you’re deal­ing with there are still some golden rules of busi­ness, which can ap­ply to ev­ery­one, ev­ery­where. “It’s the lessons I’ve learned along the way that I’d now like to pass on,
