Uni­son re­tired mem­bers

The chair­per­son Ge­orgina King wel­comed all mem­bers to the meet­ing on Au­gust 19. She then in­tro­duced our speaker John Billings­ley who gave an in­for­ma­tive talk about tales around The Pack­horse Trail. He started in Burn­ley and ended his talk at the Hal­i­fax Gib­bet. Tom Stewart thanked John for his in­ter­est­ing talk. This month’s draw was won by first, An­drew Mitchell, sec­ond, Pat Moran and third, Irene Cur­ring­ton. Sec­re­tary Tom Stewart told mem­bers that we needed a new venue for meet­ings from March next year. It has to be big enough to hold be­tween 40 and 60 and ac­cess to make drinks. He has had sev­eral sug­ges­tions but some are too far out of town. Tom has ap­proached The Im­pe­rial Crown and The White Swan who can ac­com­mo­date
