Fol­low­ing the sum­mer break the new pro­gramme of monthly meet­ings for the Northowram Methodist Ladies Guild will com­mence on Wed­nes­day, Septem­ber 2, when the speaker Mrs Julie Tay­lor will speak on “Rem­i­nis­cences of a Ju­nior School Teacher”. All ladies are welcome to join in the Guild in the cof­fee lounge at 2pm. Chris wel­comed 22 chil­dren, their par­ents, grand­par­ents, and friends to the latest Tues­day morn­ing ses­sion of Tod­dler Church held at St Matthew’s Church. Chris was happy to welcome sev­eral older chil­dren along The last meet­ing of the Rip­pon­den with Rish­worth Women’s In­sti­tute was held at County Al­pacas in Sowerby Bridge where mem­bers were able to see the an­i­mals at close quar­ters, feel the grad­ings of the fleeces, and buy a va­ri­ety of prod­ucts con­tain­ing the yarn. Gwen thanked Julie and Sean. The venue for supper was The Hob­bit at Nor­land, where tea and cakes were pro­vided. Re­minders were given to mem­bers to pro­vide cakes and pro­duce for the WI stall at the Rush­bear­ing on Sun­day,
