Your Say I found Black Lace up in my loft!

Halifax Courier - - Quiz Of The Week -

“I don’t believe it” as Victor Meldrew would say. I’ve found some more old photos up in the loft! These are dated back to the 1980s. They were taken at a concert at Pellon Social Club featuring the one and only Black Lace, giving their all with Wig Wam Bam. When they disbanded Colin Gibb went to live and perform in Tenerife. I once saw his poster outside a hotel stating that he was the only UK No 1 playing in the Canaries. I hear he is still there. Alan Barton joined the band Smokie as lead singer. Unfortunately he died when the tour bus crashed in Germany in 1995. His son Dean has formed a tribute band, Spirit of Smokie which is currently touring the UK. I am back up in the loft tomorrow. Don’t hold your breath! doesn’t stop at the white cliffs over Dover. I worry about my friend Nadine though, what will happen to her and the two million Brits who work and live in the EU if we vote to pull out of the EU?
