Halifax Courier - - Sport -

Halifax Ladies firsts go into tomorrow’s crunch top of the table clash at home to Boston Spa on the back of a 5-0 win over Chapeltown. They cruised to victory with a five-star performance that featured goals from Jennifer Brennan, Emma Bedford (2), Dani Parker, and Michaela Midgley.

The player of the match was Claire Waldron.

The victory keeps Halifax third in the North Hockey Women’s League Division Two South East, hot on the heels of second-placed Boston Spa.

Boston, who beat Halifax 4-1 in November’s reverse fixture, beat Rotherham 2-0 last weekend while leaders Leeds Adel made it 16 wins out of 16 with a 5-0 triumph over Huddersfield.
