Food for thought
Youngsters at Craigbank Primary got a lesson on saving energy, reducing food waste and the best ways to store different types of food. Ken Heaton, sustainability community engagement manager for Mitie, led a session with all the pupils from P1-P7. The children thoroughly enjoyed learning about different ways to reduce food waste and make more sustainable choices.
