Bikerpals gohead tohead

-

Two young mini moto riders who won their championships in different parts of the UK on the same day will go head-tohead this season.

Sandy Horne from Hamilton won the British Championships for the second consecutive season, and Wishaw’s Ross Maguire clinched his third UK Championships.

Both have been selected to be part of British Super Bike teams for the new British Cool Milk fab Championships season, which starts next weekend.

Ross will be racing with Bennet’s Suzuki, while Sandy will represent Tyco BMW.

Sandy’s uncle Allan said: “Both young lads have just completed a 10-day testing a racing programme in Spain along with riders from all over the UK and Europe, culminating in a full final race day, where Ross came out on top, with Sandy close behind.

“Both lads are on the look-out for any sponsorship; although they are with British Super Bike teams, funding is completely down to the families and individuals.”
