Cream of the crop
Congratulations to St Elizabeth’s Primary pupil Islah Mcwatt, who won the P4/5 section of the Lanarkshire Burns for Primary Schools competition.
Islah, of the P5/6 class, was then voted the overall recitation winner across all age groups.
That means she will now represent Lanarkshire in the Scottish Primary Burns finals in May with her recitation of Willie Wastle.
