Clyde Valley Tourist Board welcomed the first day of the new‘clydevalley’datestamp with a special posting in April 1987.

The first Clyde Valley Tourist Brochures to be sent under the new stamp were given an official send off at Rosebank, dated Tuesday, April 21, and timed at 5.15am; one to Canada, the other to Uddingston.
