Wishing flick ended sooner

A real love it or hate it film this one – and I fall more on the latter side of the fence.

It is not awful, but sitting watching a family full of unlikable characters row with each other for 97 minutes is hard going.

Tension does build throughout, but chances are you will not care enough to see it through to the end.

Sandra Oh and Anne Heche play warring former best friends in this bizarre comedydrama.

The pair give committed turns as they butt heads, but are hampered by their vile, difficult to root for protagonists.

Writer-director Onur Tukel’s latest movie outing does, however, pack a pretty forceful satirical punch.
