Larkhalland District Volunteers

The genealogy group are progressing well with their project.

They enrolled the help of Tony Rosser, who has been tracing back his family tree for some time and has a lot of knowledge on the subject.

They have also had input from the Lanarkshire Family History Society, who are based in Motherwell.

They have enjoyed talks and presentations as well as lots of interaction on this topic.

Anyone can join the genealogy group, which meets on Mondays at 1pm.

There are still spaces left at the exercise group on Thursdays at 9am and Fridays at 1pm.

A handyperson service is available to older people in the area who need a little help with small, non-emergency household tasks.

Volunteers can make morning check-up calls between 9am and 10am, Monday to Friday, just to make sure everything is OK. Call with your information to be added to the list.
