Machan Autumn Fair

The Machan Trust held a suc­cess­ful Autumn Fair on Satur­day, Oc­to­ber 7, at Trin­ity Par­ish Church.

There was a wide range of stalls and the event was wellat­tended.

The char­ity — who work with chil­dren and young peo­ple — would like to thank the staff from Boots do­nated plenty of gifts.

Satur­day’s event raised £1515 which will go to­wards funds.

Jen­nifer Mckin­lay, vol­un­teer co-or­di­na­tor at the Machan Trust, said: “The fair was a great suc­cess and was well-at­tended.

“We wish to thank the com­mu­nity who turned out who to show their sup­port for the Trust and a spe­cial thanks goes to the chil­dren from Glen­gowan Pri­mary School who en­ter­tained by singing at the fair.”

The Trust vol­un­teers and staff have been busy this month and also raised a fur­ther £900 for the char­ity, af­ter com­plet­ing the Great Scot­tish Run on Sun­day, Oc­to­ber, 1.
