Nurs­ery raise funds for hos­pi­tal

Hop­scotch Child­care Cen­tre held a ‘pur­ple fun day’in aid of the Schiehal­lion Ap­peal.

The staff, chil­dren and fam­i­lies all joined in the fun and games for the char­ity.

Tak­ing part in the fundrais­ing fun, they dressed in pur­ple and took part in lots of ac­tiv­i­ties.

Glas­gow Chil­dren’s Hos­pi­tal Char­ity’s Schiehal­lion Ap­peal hosts a num­ber of Go Pur­ple Days, as that is the colour of the char­ity.

The chil­dren en­joyed mak­ing pur­ple gloop and cre­at­ing beau­ti­ful pur­ple pic­tures, which they sent to the chil­dren in the Schiehal­lion Ward at the hos­pi­tal.

In to­tal, the nurs­ery raised £103 for the Schiehal­lion Ap­peal and that will go to­wards help­ing sick chil­dren.

And af­ter they raised the money, the young­sters were in­vited into the hos­pi­tal to hand over the funds that they had raised.

And af­ter hand­ing it over, the chil­dren en­joyed a spe­cial tour of the hos­pi­tal and learned about how the money will be used.
