Dalziel fell to their 10th straight defeat in the BT National League 3 as Highland ran out convincing winners at Dalziel Park.

The Motherwell side sit 12th in the table, 10 points away from safety.

Oscar Baird scored four for Highland, Magnus Henry added a double and there were singles from Scott Fraser, Craig Findlater, Steven Rutledge, Mikey Gordon and Callum Carson, while Scott Fraser added 16 points with the boot.

In response Dalziel scored tries through Stuart Mclelland and Ryan Burrell, with David Stewart and Andrew Glover converting the scores, while Glover slotted a penalty.

Dalziel aren’t in league action again until December 2 when they travel to eighthplaced Gordonians, but will be hoping to get on the winning trail.
