READER of the WEEK

Our lucky reader of the week is George Paterson from Blantyre.

Mr Paterson is a regular reader of the paper as well as an ex-soldier and paper boy.

He said:“i used to deliver the Hamilton Advertiser back when I was a young boy, and I’ve been in it a few times as well.”

And he says he picks up a copy of the paper every week and enjoys both the news and sport sections of the newspaper.

To thank Mr Paterson for his readership, we presented him with a copy of the paper.

And the 86-year-old also received a box of chocolates courtesy of Scullion LAW, Hamilton.
