Janny Anne’s lastdayat Academy

Staff and pupils at Calderside Academy in Blantyre said a fond farewell to their janitor.

Anne Thomson has decided to move on from her post at the Academy after many years.

Her time at the school was recognised with a surprise presentation of flowers by headteacher Skene Dodds on her last day.

Mr Dodds said: “Anne was previously at Earnock High School and has worked at Calderside since we opened.

“Staff and pupils will all miss her and we wish her all the best.”
