Newage kurling

Hamilton South Church are offering new age kurling and carpet bowls every Thursday from 1pm to 3pm.

They have teamed up with Lightburn Elderly Association Project (LEAP) to offer the game in the church hall.

A cross between curling on ice and bowling, new age kurling is a great form of gentle exercise, perfect to keep you active.

Carpet bowls is also on offer, so why not come along, have a cuppa and a blether and join in?

Sessions are open to anyone over the age of 50 and will be held in the church hall. It’s only £2 a session, with all income being put back into the project.
