Great things STEM from learning about science

Youngsters at Glengowan Primary School took part in a number of exciting activities and workshops celebrating the school’s annual STEM week.

The events to mark Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths, were enjoyed by the whole school.

Rooms one and two enjoyed a bread-making session with a representative from the Royal Highland Educationtrust.

Rooms three and four found out more about the five senses through their visit from Sense Scotland.

Rooms five, six and seven, had a visit from‘the Animal Man’who brought a few of his favourite animals and reptiles to show.

And room ten were delighted to find out all about thermal imaging during their workshop by Thales UK.

Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the events.
