Uddingston Cricket Club will be throwing their doors open in May so that kids can get a first taste of the sport.
All Stars Cricket is an eightweek programme aimed at kids who are aged between five and eight. It runs at Uddingston from May 2 to June 20 with sessions from 5pm-5.45pm.
Every child receives eight weeks of top coaching and an individual participant pack with bat, ball, cap, drink bottle, backpack and personalised shirt so they can continue playing at home and in the park.
There will also be a chance for youngsters to meet current Scotland internationalists as part of All Stars Cricket, which will be led by full-trained and vetted activators at each club.
Ian Sandbrook, director of participation at Cricket Scotland, said: “We believe All Stars Cricket is a game-changer for the sport in Scotland.
“The programme provides children and their parents with an outstanding first step into the sport.”
Cost is £40 per child, sign up at allstarscricket.co.uk.
