Can you take the tea cake challenge?

Bothwell Scarecrow Festival is set to host its annual Tea Cake Challenge on Sunday.

The event will see participants gather at Bothwell Primary School to eat ten Tunnock’s tea cakes each.

The event rounds off the village’s annual scarecrow festival parade.

There will be a prize for the best dressed scarecrow in the parade (best child and best adult). Hand-held scarecrows are also welcome.
