Spooky films at theme park

M&D’S is get­ting into the spooky spirit at Hal­loween by screen­ing hor­ror clas­sics at their drive-in movies.

Cult favourite The Lost Boys and Stan­ley Kubrick’s crit­i­cally-ac­claimed The Shin­ing will be shown along­side fam­ily favourite Ho­tel Tran­syl­va­nia 2.

A to­tal of eight movies will be screened through­out the Hal­loween week­end from Oc­to­ber 26 to 28.

The other films be­ing shown are Split, Annabelle, IT, Get Out and Let Me In.

Matthew Tay­lor, man­ag­ing di­rec­tor of M&D’S Theme Park, said: “Hal­loween is one of our favourite times of the year, and we’ve def­i­nitely ramped up our su­perb of­fer­ing this year.

“Drive-in movies of­fers film buffs a great se­lec­tion of clas­sic scary movies and has be­come a favourite way to cel­e­brate the scary sea­son. Make sure you snap up your ticket and en­joy the big screen ex­pe­ri­ence.

“We’ve also got lots of fam­ily friendly ac­ti­vates on of­fer that cel­e­brate the fun side of Hal­loween and we’d love to see kids in their fancy dress.”
