Racecourse hoping to be first past the post at awards
Hamilton Park Racecourse was this week named as a finalist for four industry awards.
The venue is leading the way in British racing with more nominations than any other course at the Racecourse Association (RCA) Showcase & Awards.
And the team has been recognised in the Food and Beverage, Operational Excellence, #Topspot and Racing Post Readers’award categories.
Vivien Currie, chief executive at Hamilton Park Racecourse, said: “The annual RCA Showcase & Awards is the highlight in the awards calendar for British racing.
“A stellar cast of venues compete every year and for the team here at Hamilton Park to have been nominated as a finalist in four categories, more than any other race course in Britain, really is an incredible achievement.
“I am extremely proud of the hard work and dedication of our talented and expert team, who have once again surpassed all expectations to deliver a fantastic season of top quality action and entertainment on and off the track.”
A winner in each category, as well as an overall Champion Racecourse, will be decided at the glittering event, partnered by Moët Hennessy, Racing Post, Racing Breaks and Great British Racing, at Aintree Racecourse, the reigning Showcase Champions, on November 8.
