Award is pos­i­tive feed­back for car­ers

La­nark­shire Car­ers Cen­tre have re­ceived the Carer Pos­i­tive award.

It is pre­sented to em­ploy­ers in Scot­land who have a work­ing en­vi­ron­ment where car­ers are val­ued and sup­ported.

They have also been pre­sented with the Vol­un­teer Friendly Award and Bronze Healthy Work­ing Lives Award.

A spokesper­son for the cen­tre said:“we be­lieve that our ser­vices are en­hanced by the var­ied skills and ex­pe­ri­ence that our em­ploy­ees bring, and that we give them an op­por­tu­nity to build con­fi­dence, skills and con­tri­bu­tion to our com­mu­nity through help­ing oth­ers.”
