Big Pink party is a suc­cess

The Univer­sity of the West of Scot­land held a‘big Pink Party’at their cam­pus in Hamil­ton In­ter­na­tional Park.

Staff and stu­dents held the event in sup­port of Breast Cancer Care last week.

A cof­fee morn­ing was hosted by mem­bers of the School of Health and Life Sci­ences.

And there was a great turnout, as the fan­tas­tic sum of £700 was raised on the day.

UWS en­ter­prise ad­min­is­tra­tor Caro­line Gib­son said:“we would like to thank every­one who sup­ported this event and any­one who do­nated items.

“We re­ceived some de­li­cious bak­ing to sell, a hair­dress­ing voucher for £50 from El­iz­a­beth Cox Hair Sa­lon and many items for our tombola.”
