Bus driver Vic named as vic­tim of mo­tor­bike crash

The 54-year-old was trav­el­ling home and died at the scene

THE man who died in a mo­tor­bike accident in Ick­en­ham last week has been named.

Vic New­man, a 54-yearold fa­ther, died in a col­li­sion in­volv­ing three cars in Long Lane, Ick­en­ham at 5.45pm on Mon­day last week.

Mr New­man had suf­fered fa­tal head in­juries and was pro­nounced dead at the scene.

He worked as a bus driver and lived lo­cally. He was trav­el­ling home.

No-one else was in­jured in the col­li­sion.

No ar­rests have been made.

Flow­ers and Chelsea foot­ball scarves and flags have been left at the scene along with mes­sages.
