Artists open their studios for a week to the public
ARTISTS will once again open their studios this autumn and put their skills on display.
Sixteen artists will host open days during Hillingdon Open Studios week, allowing you a chance to chat to them about their art, see works in progress and – if tempted – buy something that takes your fancy.
Photographers, painters, printmakers, sculptors and others will be taking part in the annual festival, from Saturday, September 20 to Sunday, September 28.
Many of the studio spaces in the eight-day drop-in period are within an easy stroll of each other.
Entry is free of charge. For a taste of the art on show, a list of artists and a handy map of the studios, go to www.getwestlondon. co.uk and search on ‘Hillingdon Open Studios’.
