Big sounds of Peggy, Duke and Benny are out in force

PEGGY, Duke and Benny – not a firm of so­lic­i­tors but a swing­ing, foot-tap­ping show is on its way to The Watersmeet The­atre.

Backed by a world renowned jazz en­sem­ble, the show fea­tures the mu­sic of Peggy Lee, Duke Elling­ton and Benny Good­man, three stars of the jazz world.

Tracks in­clude It Don’t Mean A Thing, Fever, Do I Love You, Folks Who Live On The Hill, The Girl From Ipanema and Rockin’ In Rhythm.

Band leader and clar­inet­tist Pete Long, of Ron­nie Scott’s Big Band and Jools Hol­land’s Rhythm and Blues Or­ches­tra fame, con­ducts and per­forms with some of the best mu­si­cians in the busi­ness, while lead vo­cal­ist and trum­pet player Ge­orgina Jack­son de­liv­ers a stun­ning per­for­mance.
