Man suf­fers head in­jury as cars crash

ONE per­son was taken to hos­pi­tal af­ter be­ing in­jured in a three-car col­li­sion in Har­ling­ton.

The man, who has not been named, was one of two peo­ple who re­ceived road­side treat­ment af­ter the in­ci­dent in Shep­is­ton Lane on Wed­nes­day last week.

Emer­gency crews were called just be­fore 7.20am. A Lon­don Fire Brigade spokesman said two peo­ple were re­moved from the ve­hi­cles and were treated by paramedics by the time fire­fight­ers ar­rived.

A man in his 30s was taken to Hilling­don Hos­pi­tal for treat­ment to a head in­jury, which is not be­lieved to be se­ri­ous.

On the same day, a multi-car pile-up on the A40 caused tailbacks between Swake­leys Round­about and Den­ham Round­about.

The col­li­sion was on the west­bound car­riage­way in the morn­ing rush hour.

Two lanes were blocked by the in­ci­dent.

No ca­su­al­ties were re­ported.
