Boris being reeled back in by Cameron

Harefield Gazette - - OPINION - STEVE COLLINS Name and address supplied

BORIS has said: “We have danced around it for an awfully long time now and the Prime Minister has said he wants me back on his team.”

I find it hard to believe that Johnson is so naive to see and resist it, but wonder if he’s picked up on the fact that this reads to me like a cynical attempt – on Cameron’s part – to reel him back in under his thumb and away from promoting his common sense ‘Boris Island’ solution to (Heathrow’s) insatiable greed.

Do we really know what’s going on and how can we check that one of our key allies hasn’t had the ‘wool’ of flattery ‘pulled over his eyes’?
