Family have fun as boy gets Disney wish

Trip of a lifetime to Paris

Harefield Gazette - - NEWS - By Alan Hayes alan.hayes@trinitymirror.com

ALITTLE boy has had his dearest wish – to visit Disneyland Paris – granted.

Starlight Children’s Foundation arranged for six-year-old Burhan Ali, from Hayes, to make the trip of a lifetime with his sister Zunairah and his brother Ayaan.

In July 2012, Burhan was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukaemia but has been very brave throughout his illness and is looking forward to the end of his chemotherapy treatment next year.

He stayed close to the park with his brother and sister and their mother, Ozma, and the family, of Glamis Crescent, had special passes so they were able to skip the queues to the rides and attractions.

The highlight of the trip for Burhan was the special Disney breakfast arranged by Starlight.

He met Pluto, Minnie Mouse and his favourite character, Mickey Mouse, and had pictures taken with them.

Mum Ozma said: “I would like to thank Starlight for arranging such a wonderful trip for Burhan and us. Burhan had a fantastic time in Disneyland Paris and we all enjoyed ourselves immensely.

“He enjoyed meeting all the characters and the whole trip will be remembered by him forever.”
