Prize-winning displays at annual show
FROM photography to jams and preserves, from handicraft to fruit and vegetables, the women of Harlington Women’s Institute have put on another fine display.
The group’s annual show, held at Hayes and Harlington Community Centre in Albert Road, Hayes, brings the summer to a close.
Entries are judged against a set of criteria rather than each other, and after the judges had made their decisions on Saturday morning, visitors were allowed in to see for themselves.
“There was plenty for the public to see and enjoy.
“We were more than pleased with the number of people who came to view it,” said show committee member Jenny Jeffries.
