KEEN swimmers are invited to try their hand at water polo.
A group of eight to 18-year-olds is looking for new young players – both boys and girls who are confident in deep water – to train with them at Hillingdon Sports and Leisure Complex, in Gatting Way, Uxbridge.
The training is aimed at all levels, from beginner upwards, and takes place every Saturday, from 4pm to 6pm, during term-time.
Several members represented Middlesex at an international tournament near Antwerp, in Belgium, in August.
Daniel Culyer, Alex Hammond, Nick Birch and Samuel Roberts made up the Under-17s team, who beat Belgium, Holland, Germany and France on their way to winning the tournament.
The Under-15s came fourth in their age group. Top scorers Nick Birch and Sam Roberts were joined by Toby Roberts Michael Seagroatt.
