Free ses­sion on dys­lexia support

RE­FORMS aim­ing to give chil­dren and young peo­ple with spe­cial ed­u­ca­tional needs and their par­ents a greater say in the support they re­ceive have come into ef­fect in Eng­land.

A free in­for­ma­tion ses­sion with Lan­g­ley Wellington Solic­i­tors is be­ing held on Mon­day, Oc­to­ber 13, 11am to 12.30pm, at Oak Farm Li­brary, in Sut­ton Court Road, Hilling­don, for any­one in­ter­ested in find­ing out more about the changes, not just par­ents of chil­dren with dys­lexia.

Un­der the new sys­tem, Ed­u­ca­tion, Health and Care Plans re­place spe­cial needs state­ments for new­borns up to age 25.
