Pair in hospital after Long Lane pile-up
TWO people were taken to hospital following a three-car pile-up that forced the closure of a road in Hillingdon for 90 minutes.
The accident occurred at about 2pm on Monday in Long Lane.
According to London Ambulance Service officer Chris Hawkswell writing on Twitter, the collision involved three cars, one of which was overturned as a result of the impact.
Six people were assessed by members of an ambulance crew at the scene and one person was said to be trapped inside a vehicle for a time.
Two people were then taken to a major trauma centre.
