Judge’s golds take Hillingdon to the top
BRODIE Judge’s triumphs helped Hillingdon secure their position as the top swimming club in London – boasting four national champions and collecting six gold, two silver and six bronze medals in the process.
Judge won an incredible three gold medals at the National Youth Swimming Championships, emerging victorious from the 100m and 200m freestyle, alongside the 100m butterfly contest.
Alfie Collins and George Taplin won the freestyle 1,500 and 400m races in their respective age groups, 13 and 14, while Taplin added a silver in the 1,500m freestyle and two bronzes in the 200m backstroke and 200m freestyle.
Alexandra Kaye picked up gold in the 17/18 girls 200m medley and silver in the 400m individual medley, while Jemima Hall, 12, won bronze in the girls 200m freestyle.
for Rohan Vazirani and LouLou Vos in the 1,500m open water swims, while the 4x100m free relay team of Amy Grimshaw, Vos, Hall and Judge, who qualified fastest, fell just short in the final.
