Judge’s golds take Hilling­don to the top

BRODIE Judge’s tri­umphs helped Hilling­don se­cure their po­si­tion as the top swimming club in London – boast­ing four na­tional cham­pi­ons and col­lect­ing six gold, two sil­ver and six bronze medals in the process.

Judge won an in­cred­i­ble three gold medals at the Na­tional Youth Swimming Cham­pi­onships, emerg­ing vic­to­ri­ous from the 100m and 200m freestyle, along­side the 100m but­ter­fly contest.

Al­fie Collins and George Taplin won the freestyle 1,500 and 400m races in their re­spec­tive age groups, 13 and 14, while Taplin added a sil­ver in the 1,500m freestyle and two bronzes in the 200m back­stroke and 200m freestyle.

Alexan­dra Kaye picked up gold in the 17/18 girls 200m med­ley and sil­ver in the 400m in­di­vid­ual med­ley, while Jemima Hall, 12, won bronze in the girls 200m freestyle.




for Ro­han Vazi­rani and LouLou Vos in the 1,500m open wa­ter swims, while the 4x100m free re­lay team of Amy Grimshaw, Vos, Hall and Judge, who qual­i­fied fastest, fell just short in the fi­nal.
