100th completion for London Square AcelebratingA

Harefield Gazette - - UXBRIDGE PROPERTY -

AWARD-W WINNING housebuilder London Square is a significant milestone, less than two years since it launched its first development at London Square Wimbledon Village.

Founded in 2010, London Square has already sold out at schemes across the capital, including Wimbledon; Leonard Street, London EC2A; and Ruislip, all within the last 18 months. At its current developments, more than 60 per cent of homes have been sold at London Square Eastcote and London Square Fulham.

London Square has exciting new developments in the pipeline, including Richmond, Putney and Teddington.

Amy Burton, 28, was the 100th buyer to complete on a home with London Square. One of the growing ranks of ‘generation rent’ working people, Amy feared she would never be able to get on the housing ladder or find an attractive, well-designed first home within budget. Amy has now been able to purchase a one-bedroom starter home.

“I am proud to be London Square’s 100th buyer as they are a fantastic company,” Amy comments.

“I spent a lot of time looking for the right property but getting my foot on the ladder at London Square Ruislip has meant that I’ve been able to buy a lovely flat, much larger than those looked at in other parts of London. Buying such a high quality, new-build property was a great option for a first-time buyer like me.”

London Square Ruislip is typical of a London Square development, with its traditional vernacular in a quiet and tranquil landscaped setting, conveniently located for transport links and local amenities.

Amy, who works in corporate affairs for an FMCG company in Richmond, continues: “love living at London Square Ruislip. It’s particularly great to have the Underground station right on my doorstep, as it means can travel into London in around 30 minutes and get to work in an hour.”

All 61 properties in Ruislip are now sold, but a development was launched recently in Eastcote. First-time buyers are showing interest in buying at this stylish collection of one-, two- and three bedroom apartments, set beyond private gates just off the High Street.

The development is just 300 metres from Eastcote Tube station (serving both the Metropolitan and Piccadilly lines).

IIIRebecca Littler, sales and marketing director of London Square, said: “Welcoming our 100th buyer in less than two years is a fantastic achievement and is testament to the success of London Square.

“Building homes that people really want to live in, in convenient and sought-after locations, is what London Square is all about. We look forward to reaching our next important milestone and celebrating our 1,000th completion.”

Prices start from £299,995 for a one-bedroom apartment at London Square Eastcote.

London Square takes its name from the ethos of London’s famous squares – the sense of community and enduring legacy they have provided over the centuries.

Its achievements have been recognised by the industry with numerous awards, including Newcomer of the Year at the 2012 RESI Awards and Norwood Property Awards. In 2013, London Square was recognised at both the Evening Standard New Homes Awards and the What House Awards.
