Flats plan for Au­dit House

RUIS­LIP: Au­dit House, a three-storey of­fice block in Field End Road, can be con­verted into 22 flats un­der ex­tended per­mit­ted de­vel­op­ment rights.

Lin­tons (Eastcote) Ltd has sub­mit­ted de­tails of the trans­port, flood­ing, and con­tam­i­na­tion risks to Hilling­don Coun­cil for prior ap­proval for the change of use.

Martin Hill was fly­ing the two me­tre long blimp at about 6.10pm on Thurs­day, Oc­to­ber 2 when he lost sight of it.

Mr Hill be­lieves it could have landed in the open spa­ces or farm­land sur­round­ing Hare­field Hos­pi­tal, in Hill End Road.

The coun­cil is tak­ing part in the Big Tidy-Up, a na­tional project by the Keep Bri­tain Tidy Group, which is de­signed to make the cap­i­tal cleaner.

So far only one lo­ca­tion has been con­firmed – King’s Col­lege play­ing fields in Ruis­lip – but oth­ers will be added as the date ap­proaches, says the coun­cil.

The tidy-ups will take place from 10am to noon.
