Is it safe to put on the heating?

Harefield Gazette - - LETTINGS -

WITH the cold nights coming in fast and we find ourselves putting on another jumper instead of reaching for the heating switch, we would like to remind all our landlords at Bradley & Co that they should check that their gas safety certificates are valid, so they do not end up with the heat on them!

Managing director Fraser Bradley says it is imperative that landlords set an annual reminder to renew their gas safety certificates, if they have gas services in their rented properties, as it is a mandatory requirement, owing to the seriousness of the potential consequences and hazards, especially caused by carbon monoxide.

Here at Bradley & Co, we like to keep all our clients up to date with the important changes and legislation in lettings and are happy to include any landlords that may find this information useful.

Please email fraser@bradleyestates.co.uk to receive regular updates.
