HAVE you got a fortune hidden in the loft?

Time to dust off that diamond brooch and polish up that painting granny left you, because the star of the BBC’s popular Cash In The Attic series, Jonty Hearnden, is coming to Uxbridge.

He will be at the Pavilions shopping centre, in Uxbridge High Street, on Saturday, October 25 to cast his expert eye over objects brought in by owners desperate to find out if their treasured possessions really could be worth a small fortune.

And Jonty, who has forged a long TV career as an antiques expert on shows such as The Antiques Roadshow, says he always gets excited about what people will bring in to show him.

“The whole point of what we do is to help people and to let them know what it is they possess,” he said.

“And from that, they can perhaps understand its value.

“It’s actually amazing what comes out of the woodwork when we put on these sessions.

“I have had everything from jewellery worth thousands of pounds to pocket watches and pottery to – shall we say – overly loved and often rather threadbare teddy bears.”

Jonty and the rest of the Cash In The Attic team will be in the Pavilions from 11am4pm.

For a free valuation, simply turn up with your cherished object.
