Third runway would be cruel to residents

Harefield Gazette - - OPINION -

AS A regular visitor to friends and family in Harlington, I am in total agreement with the letter fron Bryan Tomlinson in last week’s Gazette [see reference above].

The noise is beyond belief and Heathrow’s owners should be ashamed to expect residents in the area to live with the constant noise, pollution, smell of burning rubber and traffic jams.

To even think of building a third and fourth runway would be unjustifiably cruel and inhumane to the people who already tolerate and suffer the poor quality of life dished out by Heathrow Airport.
