Harefield Gazette - - NEWS -

A CLASS called ‘Gentle Yoga’ has been launched which aims to help those suffering from anxiety or depression.

The Hillingdon Mind charity is running the class at Botwell Leisure Centre on Tuesdays, from 2-3pm, but there are also plans to run two further sessions a week at other venues in the borough. The precise times and locations have yet to be decided.

Amraj Dhillon from Hillingdon Mind said: “The class is open to two groups of people – firstly those that are diagnosed as having mental health problems.

“Secondly, we are targeting those that have low level symptoms such as anxiety and depression (caused by the stresses of daily life). They would be people based in the community who feel they need to de-stress and can self-refer.”

The Gentle Yoga classes are being funded by Hillingdon Community Trust and there is no charge to take part.

If you would like to take part, simply turn up to Botwell Leisure Centre.
