Harefield Gazette - - SPORT -

ROSS Lynch was the star as Uxbridge College came from behind to storm a 5-1 victory against Boreham Wood thirds last week.

Lynch netted a brace and set up two of the goals as the visitors ran out comfortable winners to keep up their great start to the season.

Uxbridge went a goal down but were level shortly after as a Jordon Hamilton cross was met by Ryan Mepham, who netted with a powerful finish.

They then went in front when a corner was whipped into the box by Lynch and Prince Sarpong produced an acrobatic volley to put them 2-1 up at the break.

Although starting the second half on the back foot, Albinot Kunushevci set up Lynch to score his second of the game with a nicelytimed chip. Lynch turned provider for the fourth, whipping in a low cross for Jack Taylor to slide home.

With the game nearing its end, Nathan Murphy won a penalty which was missed by Taylor but he made no mistake with the rebound to add his second.
