LAST year’s Britain’s Got Talent finalist, Sam Kelly, is set to perform at the Uxbridge Folk Club.

The 21-year-old from Norfolk will be at the club in Long Lane, Hillingdon, on Thursday, November 13, when a large crowd is expected.

Peter Slavid from the club said: “We hope he will bring in a good crowd.”

He added that he hoped Sam would encourage more people to start listening to folk music.

Since finishing Britain’s Got Talent, he has been touring the UK with his band, including Jamie Francis on banjo and Evan Carson on bodhran – the Irish drum.

The music will begin at 8pm, with tickets priced at £8 for general admission, £3 for students and free for those under 18.

With demand expected to be high, tickets must be bought online, at http://www. wegottickets.com/ event/29678.
