PRIZE-WIN­NING writer, nov­el­ist and cul­tural com­men­ta­tor Lisa Ap­pig­nanesi OBE is the next speaker at Brunel Univer­sity’s pub­lic lec­ture se­ries. Her topic is The Fu­ture of Fem­i­nism.

A for­mer chair­woman of the Freud Mu­seum London, her books in­clude Mad, Bad and Sad:

A His­tory of Women and the Mind Doc­tors; Tri­als of Pas­sion: Crimes in the Name of Love and Mad­ness; and All About Love: Anatomy of an Un­ruly Emo­tion.

She has also writ­ten a por­trait of the French writer and fem­i­nist, Si­mone de Beau­voir, Freud’s Women and is an ed­i­tor of Fifty Shades of Fem­i­nism. What? The Fu­ture of Fem­i­nism Where?
