Crowds came to help light up the Manor
STALLS lined the streets and shoppers came in their droves to experience some festive fun at the annual Lighting up the Manor event, kick starting the Christmas shopping season in Ruislip Manor.
The Winter Fun Day began on Saturday in Victoria Road at 11am and soon families were flocking to make the most of the fun available.
High street traders offered special discounts and families enjoyed fun fair rides and amusements.
The event, organised by the Ruislip Manor Chamber of Commerce (RMCC) and supported by Hillingdon Council, included the switch-on of the high street’s Christmas lights by the Mayor of Hillingdon, councillor Catherine Dann.
RMCC chairman Les Drussel said: “Thank you all very much to everyone involved for taking part.”
