Ter­ror­ism sus­pect is re­leased

AN UXBRIDGE man ar­rested in raids across West London led by an­titer­ror­ism po­lice has been re­leased.

Known only as ‘C’, the 25-year-old was de­tained along with three other men as of­fi­cers swooped at ad­dresses in Uxbridge, Hayes, Southall, Houn­slow and Green­ford, and in High Wy­combe, in Bucks.

The other three – aged 19, 22, and 27 – re­main in cus­tody. War­rants for their fur­ther de­ten­tion were is­sued on Thurs­day, Novem­ber 13, a week after the men were ar­rested on sus­pi­cion of ‘be­ing con­cerned in the com­mis­sion, prepa­ra­tion or in­sti­ga­tion of acts of ter­ror­ism, con­trary to sec­tion 40(1)(b) of the Ter­ror­ism Act 2000’.
