MEET the stars of journalism in years to come – the Heathrow Stars.

The young reporters at Heathrow Primary School, in Harmondsworth Lane, have worked extremely hard – rare for journalists – including right through their lunchtime (even rarer!) to get the magazine off the ground.

They decided producing and selling a magazine full of interesting stories for their school mates would be a great way to raise money for the school.

They even did a publishing deal – the printing of the first edition of Heathrow Stars was sponsored by Lloyds Bank is now on sale at the school.

The pupils, aged six to 11, who are now hard at work on edition two, got a bit of help from staff members Tracey Carter and Katherine Miah.

“The children

are passionate about making a difference in their school and keeping all the pupils at Heathrow Primary involved in what is going on,” said Ms Miah.
