Advertisement feature Sleep on the streets for one night

Harefield Gazette - - OPINION -

ON Friday, November 28, Trinity Homeless Projects hold their Annual Big SleepOut – at least 300 people will spend the night sleeping in cardboard boxes.

We hope to raise £100,000 for the work of Trinity in your community. There will be entertainment, comedy, music, food, competitions, interviews with Trinity residents and an appearance from the Mayor of Hillingdon too.

Trinity works in Hillingdon with people who are suffering the many effects of homelessness, providing opportunities for people to journey back towards independent fulfilled lives.

Despite the best efforts of Trinity and the local authority, figures released by the Department of Communities and Local Government in February showed that recorded street homelessness has increased by 322% in Hillingdon over the previous three years.

This is a growing problem, and on November 28, you can be a part of the solution.

We want you to be there - choosing to do for one night what many people have no choice over...
